We Support

The unfortunate events we see almost daily in the news about violence against children serve as a reminder that we must work harder to provide our children with a safe and secure childhood.

Goals

Bring the prevention-based educational programs to every school age child in Northeast Florida and a part of the standard curriculum.  Much of this is being created today through the work of the Monique Burr Foundation.

Significantly increase participation in neighborhood watch programs with an emphasis on awareness and prevention of violence against children.

Child Lures Prevention

Children's Safe Passage is pleased to be a proponent of Child Lures Prevention is the national organization which works for the prevention of crimes against children and youth through education and awareness.  Its mission is to assist parents and educators in protecting youngsters, both offline and online. Millions of children and teens nationwide have been empowered by Think First & Stay Safe™ resources to avoid:

Sexual Abuse
Exploitation
Harassment
School Violence
Abduction
Drugs
Bullying

Working with conjunction with Pastor David Tarkington and others, we brought Ken Wooden and the Child Lures Prevention free seminar to Orange Park First Baptist Church in March, 2010.
